Need a bit of extra support? ALISS can help.

From food banks and addiction recovery to mental health support, money advice, and job opportunities, ALISS connects people in Scotland with local servicies that make a difference.

It is completely free to use and includes information on over 5,000 services run by almost 3,000 organisations.

Created by the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland, ALISS helps you find local groups, activities, and services that support your helath and wellbeing - all in one easy place.

How to use ALISS

You can search ALISS either by postcode - ideal for finding services close to your patch - or by topic or category of support.

For example, to find emergency food (or local services) for your customers on ALISS:

2) Type in the customer's postcode and hit search

3) ALISS will return all the services from their directory that are in the area

4) On the left of the screen, you can filter down the results

5) Under What, you can select your preferred service

6) Under Distance you can choose between a 15 minute walk or 30 minute drive or set your own distance and press apply

ALISS will list food banks, community meals, pantries and larders, If you clock on any of the services shown, it will tell you who runs the service, when it is open, who can access it and much more information.
