Public Holiday - September Weekend
Our office will be closed on Friday 27th September 2024 and Monday 30th September 2024 for the September Weekend public holiday. Our office will reopen on Tuesday 1st October at 8.30am. Please call City Building on 0800 595 595 for any emergency repairs during this time.
Support for Energy and Cost of Living Crisis
We recognise the challenges faced by everyone in the current economic climate and have been successful in securing funding to help our tenants through our partners at The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and Glasgw and West of Scotland Forum.
We have received 2 rounds of funding for this winter period.
- Funding to help with energy efficiency measures
- Financial support for energy costs. Tenants will be contacted soon to provide details to allow financial support payments to be made. Payments will start to be made early in early January.

WINTER READY
As part of their Getting Ready For Winter campaign, Home Energy Scotland has prepared a Winter Partner Pack, which is full of support and information on Warmer Homes Scotland, their eco hamper competition, posters, factsheets and essential winter content,. This will help you in getting prepared for the winter ahead.

UNIVERSAL CREDIT MIGRATION
If you are in receipt of working tax or childrens tax credit you will migrate to Universal Credit in the very near future. If you need help or support with this please get in touch.

Scottish Child Payment
The Scottish Child Payment has been extended to under 16's from the 14th November 2022. Staff from Scotlands's Social Security are available to discuss any applications or issues you may have. You can call 0800 182 2222 to make an appointment. You may be invited to attend your appointment at Ruchazie Pantry or at home.

OUT OF HOURS EMERGENCY REPAIRS

Our priority is the safety of our tenants and staff and while we aim to complete repairs within the agreed timescales, it may be the case that some repairs are taking slightly longer to complete due to awaiting materials and contractor shortages.
We continue to arrange servicing of gas installations, as this is a legal requirement and thank all tenants to enable us to retain 100% of this service.
BULK RUBBISH
Please do not leave bulk outside in the street, Any excess rubbish can be taken to the recycling centre at Queenslie, or you can contact Glasgow City Council for an uplift, this service is chargeable.

Fly tipping is an offence and a fine of up to £250 can be imposed if evidence identifies the cuplrit.
Please help us keep Ruchazie clean and tidy and free from rubbish.
